BST: Marina overcharges on repairs, refuses to honor estimate

I have to disagree. I believe the purpose of the buy-sell-trade list is to,
uh ..., buy,sell, & trade. (George, who owns the lists can correct if I'm
wrong). The trawlers-and-trawlering list is for discussions of all that
other stuff, like issues that come up when doing anything with a trawler.
People interested in getting the much, much higher volume of email on that
list subscribe to that list. People who don't want the high volume, and
just want listings of boats for sale or trade subscribe to this list.
Everything written in any email anywhere in the world is of interest to
someone. But that does not mean that *everyone* wants to see every email.
That's why there are interest lists, which people subscribe to based on
their interests. If you want to see or participate in all sorts of
discussions related to trawlers, subscribe to the trawlers-and_trawlering
(as I do). But please don't fill this buy-sell-trade list with those
discussions.
