John,

<snip>I have in my procession three Dana plus instruments. A log meter, a
depth
sounder and a tachometer. There are all never used, still in the box,
complete with manuals, wiring, thru hulls, transducers, etc. By the looks
of
the manual, they appear to be made in Denmark... John McPherson <end snip>

You are correct about the Dana Plus instruments being made for sailboats -
they were the installed standard for my 1987 CS30, made in the Toronto area,
and worked very well over the years. I sold the boat in 1999 but over 500
were made and most are still in use throughout NA. I suggest you contact the
CS30 Owners Association http://www.closereach.com/csoa/index.html who also
have a daily email digest. Other sailboat owners should be interested too.
Regards,
