BST: Personalized Book Covers

As many of you are aware I have been experimenting with book publishing.
I have been testing a couple of methods of personalizing the cover with
the boat's name. At this stage of testing it requires hand work to do
this personalizing. Still, I am inclined to work out a way of
streamlining the process, both to make it inexpensive to do but also
that it would speed up the process and eliminate the chance for an error.

If any of you have been considering buying one of my books and would be
inclined to pay $10 extra for a custom imprinted copy, you are welcome
to send me an email and make the request. "A Yachtsman's Guide:
Smuggling Your Boat Out of Jail" is available in 4 different bindings
any of which can be customized.

Here is how to go about this.

Go to my web storefront at:
http://tinyurl.com/2aedo4

A sample with 3 different type faces from which to choose is at:

http://www.lulu.com/content/2385402

You can download and print the sample, no charge. By the way, the actual
printed book that you will get, the cover quality is much higher than
the PREVIEW that is online at Lulu.com. If you download and print the
cover sample at 600 dpi or so, it should be very much like the real
thing. The preview is a bit blocky, but the real printed book covers
look very professional.

Pick out the binding type that you want, send me an email with the
binding type, price from the storefront and the text and type face
(numbered 1 to 3) that you want inserted, something like: "Yacht
Endurance", or "Yacht Endurance - 1010101". The number being the boat's
official document number, if you want the number included.

Be sure to include the typeface by sample number from the sample book
cover, 1 to 3.

The latest detail instructions for all this are in the sample book cover
insides on pages 1,2 at the URL above.

Upon receipt of your email, in a few hours, days, years, centuries??,
most likely a few hours, I will send you back an email with the URL
where you can order your copy. You will be able to see the cover,
exactly as it will appear printed. You can then proceed to place the
order, and you can order as many copies as you want. Only you will know
the URL address to find the order page; you can give it to others, if
you want. Ordering is through the Lulu secure online system using Paypal
or credit card.

One last thing, if you want multiple copies let me know. After you have
ordered the first copy and you want any more I will change the price to
eliminate the custom print charge. I can't imagine what anyone would
want with multiple copies... but, who knows?

Regards,
Mike
