For Sale: Syten (Teleflex) Hydraulic Steering System

History: "The Syten hydraulic steering system was discontinued by  
Teleflex Canada in 1984 and no parts available". That was NOT what I  
needed to hear! I have a 1982 34' Marine Trader DC Trawler. This  
system was installed on many boats and trawlers for quite a few years.

So, since the upper helm pump was leaking, no new seals available  
(sealed system/not replaceable) and couldn't locate a replacement  
anywhere, I had to replace my whole system ($2100) since the new  
Seastar and old Syten systems are not compatible. I carefully removed  
the old system and am offering it to hopefully help someone have a  
"spare parts" option I didn't have when my upper helm pump went bad.  
I am selling the whole system as a package, not individual items.  
Here is what I have.

1 Syten helm pump (no leaking) including upper helm Tee fittings  
attached
2 New plastic Seastar helm trim plates (not used on my system)
1 Univalve for the 3 line system
1 Hydraulic cylinder Part# BA 150x7-BJ with mounting ball type adapter
Approx 125 ft of Syten tubing with all end fittings in place on ends
