Subject: BST: CHB - Present for Sale
After completing the Loop in June our original plan was to sell the boat.
But we fell so in love with TRINITY that we couldnbt do it and decided to
keep
her. Now, after discussing our options of taking another big trip in the
near
future or just keeping her as a bweekendb boat, it is with heavy heart,
that
we put her up for sale. She is a 1984/85 CHB 42 Present in beautiful
condition and has been cruised extensively by ourselves (and the previous
owners).
Each owner has done a very nice job of keeping her well maintained (previous
owner - new decks, new transmissions, parquet floors refinished, etc.) and
we
tried to do our part by doing even more (all new electronics, converting
both
heads to separate Vacuflush systems, twin recliner couch, new windlass,
florescent lighting in the engine room, SS risers and much, much, more). She
has almost
6,000 hours on her Lehman engines (rated for 20-30,000 hours), averaged less
than 5 GPH fuel consumption and has proven to be an extremely reliable, safe
and comfortable vessel. During our trip she has had no major problems, and
was
in a marina only one time for repair (to replace a cutlass bearing) and
never
had to be towed in. One last thing, it took us one year to decide on this
particular make and model boat and another year to find one in really nice
condition. After traveling over 6,000 miles and living aboard for 12 months
with
our 9 year old daughter, if we were to start the Loop again tomorrow, there
is
nothing we would change (o.k. a walk in engine room and 2 man Jacuzzi would
be
nice ! We are asking $155,000 and would be open to discussing selling
TRINITY as a bturn keyb vessel. We know our boat extremely well and would
be
happy to answer any questions you might have.
If interested, please e-mail us and we will send you more information.
Thank you,
Joyce and Matt Snider
