BST: Willard 36 For Sale

My Willard 36, Kathy K, ex Santa Bavaria is for sale.  My wife' now 
has a hard time on the boat due to her arthritis.  We've had fun but 
its time to go onto other things.

an inventory and many small pictures that you can click on for a full

Kathy K is a very comfortable, seaworthy and economical cruiser.  She 
cruises at 7 kts. burning 1 1/3 gal./hr.  With 500 gal. of fuel her 
range is over 2,500 nm.

The fantail enclosed in canvas adds a lot of living room.  The 
flybridge is also enclosed in canvas.  She has the latter layout with 
vee-berth forward and head opposite the nav table. The ladder to the 
flybridge is in the fantain on the aft side of the saloon.

She has been refurbished by a prior owner and doesn't look like a 40 
year old boat at all.  The Perkins 4-236 has less than 1,000 hours 
since it was replaced with a long block.  The propeller shaft is 
unique in that there is a custom thrust bearing on the aft engine 
room bulkhead connected to the engine by a short drive shaft with two 
U-joints.  Under way there is almost no vibration.

Also included is an 11' Hilaker style fiberglass dinghy and 15Hp 
Mercury outboard.

I'm asking the same price that was asked when I bought her, $115,000.
