BST: Trawlers in Fort Lauderdale

I have a couple of nice trawlers for sale located here in Fort Lauderdale,
with the sellers taking advantage of our free dockage for sellers program. I
work at a very large shipyard with lots of undercover dockage. If you are

1989 45' Hans Christian with single 135 Lehman with bow and stern thrusters.
This boat has had an extensive refit with fresh Awlgrip paint all over the
boat, including the engine room. This boat was built in Taiwan at the yard
that built the very well regarded Hans Christian offshore sailboats, and the
boat shows its sailboat heritage well. The price, now reduced to $375,000,
reflects the incredibly good condition of the boat. I brought it to a boat
show and many people thought it was new.

 

The other boat just arrived here this week, a 1997 36' Grand Banks Heritage
Motoryacht $359,000. This model has the full beam aft deck and full beam
headroom in the aft master cabin instead of the walk around decks of the
trunk cabin. It makes the aft cabin feel much larger. I sold this boat to
the current owner only a year ago. His wife just does not like being first
mate so he is reluctantly offering the boat for sale. When he bought the
boat we had a hull and engine survey done and only some minor items were
found, all of them were taken care of properly, this boat will sail through
survey now. 

Since the purchase, a new Trinka dinghy with 2 HP Honda was added, two new
flatscreen TVs, a new Raymarine E series GPS plotter, a new life raft and
more. The bottom was just done in Dec 2006 with the boot stripe repainted
and new cutlass bearings. Nine coats of fresh varnish!!!!
