Pair of Borg-Warner Transmissions
Model 1013 (Port 10-13-005, Starboard 10-13-006)
2.5 reduction

Recently removed pair of drop center Borg-Warner transmissions taken out of 
my DeFever 49RPH trawler, powered by Ford Lehman 135s.  Total hours on the 
transmissions are approximately 3455.

Transmissions were raised on the 30w oil Borg-Warner philosophy since new 
(best of my knowledge) and have had their fluid changed approximately every 
200 hours.  Have oil analysis from 2265 hours and 3455 hours.

Port transmission (serial #1491) was showing an increasing FE (iron), with 
the last analysis (December 2005) at 352 ppm.

Starboard transmission (serial #1292) -- the hard to find one --  was 
showing an amazingly low, consistent FE analysis, of 28!

The pair is being sold primarily for the starboard (drop center) 
transmission, with the port provided as a spare or for parts, since it does 
have an increasing iron content.  Both were working when removed.  Price 
for the pair is $1700.
