Does anyone use a carry on air conditioner? I need
to cut a hatch in the roof ...
I had a Carry-On. Even though I had run off tubing, no matter how I positioned it or leveled it, the a/c dripped condensate on the front bunk.It would also ice up from time to time, as I remember. I don't know the dimensions, but will measure the next time I visit the machine which is on the floor of a friend's garage.? I'd think twice, perhaps thrice, about installing the unit.? I've seen boats with overhead, outside r/v units that might work better.
Although it cost a fortune, I was forced to replace the unit with a generator and real a/c or watch the boat and my friend, Amy, fry during the Chesapeake Bay summers..
