[Sentoa] Fresh Water Pump

My Paragon, Jr fresh water pump has started sticking since we stopping  
using it on a full time basis (bought a house). It works with a slight tap on  
the motor but will stick again after a few days.
 
These pumps retail for about $1,100. Has anyone replaced theirs with  
another brand?
