Glad to hear you are having good luck with your generator. How many hours have logged on the unit?

Hello Rich, after years of lugging about a Honda 2000 on another boat I wouldn't suggest doing that unless your very young and strong and have a safe place to store them. They do work very well but a regular marine unit will make you much happier and supply more than enough power to run all your needs. I have a Northern Lights 6kw in side a sound box which is quiet and smooth and has been dependable for the last 10 years .I now keep the Honda at home for the occasional power failure. Good luck.

I don't think you'll find the E3000 "portable" unless you are a
weightlifter type.? Two 2,000s would be easier to handle.

This season we have purchased a 2001 NT 32 that has 2 zone air
conditioning (20amp start up and 10 amp running)? It does not have a
generator.? I attended this year's Newport Boat Show hoping to purchase
a generator but came away with more questions.? What I am interested in
finding out for sentoa membership, those that have a Honda generator and
if they are using it for any air-conditioning or any tips that might be
able to share. It seems that the E2000? can be hooked up in series? to
have a 40 amp service but they also have a newer model, the E3000 with
25 amps.
?
Thanks
?
