Lewmar probably purchases that item from a manufacturer - doubt that they build it in a "Lewmar" facility. I'll bet a little detective work can establish the original source.

After much use, my Sprint 1000 anchor windlass motor needs new brushes and bearings. I have been told by Lewmar that they do not have a parts list for the motor but will of course sell me a new one. This seems crazy as nearly all electric motors can be rebuilt. Does anyone have any idea how one can get the part numbers?
