[Sentoa] Self-priming Air Conditioner pump

I added a vent valve (from Mermaid) on the output side of the AC pump. Now, if I loose the prime, I just open the vent valve until a few drops of water flows. And the pump is primed again. But my pump (and vent valve) is in the engine space on the port side. This is an easy solution that may work for you.

Subject: [Sentoa] Self-priming Air Conditioner pump
Can anyone recommend an AC water pump that is self-priming. We have a
March pump mounted under the forward salon steps, but since we keep
the boat in a lift, it can lose prime unless we make a point of
closing the intake valve before raising the lift. Don't want to
remount it in bilge, but would like eventually to replace it with a
self-priming pump.
