[Sentoa] Mud Dam

I noticed a letter by Jim Waskowich 37-142 concerning a way of making
a muck & mud dam to prevent it from going down the side deck. I have
my boat, Buster 37-76 in the Chesapeake bay and it is a continuous
problem. The bay has mud with concrete texture that unless you have
massive pressure takes a long time to break loose. I anchor frequently
and often in a place where many others are, so considering wind and
current you do not have the option of washing all the mud off before
it gets on the anchor platform. I end up having to wash out the
cockpit and side decks as we get away from the anchorage. It is
really no big thing but just wondered if anyone has found a way to
divert the mud overboard. Thanks, Ken Jegen 37-76
