Fellow Tuggers,
For a real treat, click on the link at the bottom of this posting from Leslie and Doug Folkerth. Word of caution ; If you're not retired you might wait until you get home. It looks like the better part of the morning to explore it thoroughly. NICE JOB . Bob Lee, when are you going to post the adventures of APOLLO?

Subject: [Sentoa] Hi From Fredricton New Brunswick

There have been a couple of posting about the Saint John River in New Brunswick. Odyssee and Happy Clamz arrived yesterday about 1300. If you get a chance when you are doing the Down East Circle Loop, or just coming up to the Bay of Fundy. Please don't miss this true gem of a cruising destination. Fredericton is just as far up river as you can go, as it shallows here. But there are really beautiful anchorages/gunk holes all along the route. It is only about 70+ miles to get here.

Fredericton has been the provincial capital for over 10,000 years (Yes the First Nations inhabitants had this as their capital), and the Arcadian, British and Canadians have continued the trend. This is a beautiful town with lots to do. Free walking tours, lots of museums, restaurants, pubs, shops galore. Chuck will even be able to get his hair cut at a barber that specializes in Flat Tops!! But NO FUEL. Marina has power at $1/ft, 20 amp service included.

After we have fought our way through the North Atlantic, it is really nice to get into some inland water and just enjoy ourselves for a while.

We are headed back towards Saint John today and will probably enter Maine on Thursday.

Good Cruising to you.
