Sounds like flooding of the chain locker is "normal"! Never noticed it, but
once the chain locker started leaking into the boat, it became apparent.
Talked to our boat shop, and he wants to put a drain in the chain locker,
hose it out a through hull, and maybe seal up the 2 holes in the bow.
Good idea?

Still trying to figure out the maze of bulkheads, dividers, and various
compartments below the floors. For some reason, there is a bulkhead
behind the transmission, dividing the lowest bilge in the keel in half. Pump
only services the rear end below the shaft. Thinking about breaching that
to allow the pump to pull from the front of the boat too. Good idea?

NT used to have a useful library of under construction photos on their web
site. It was a great place to see details while the hull was still open. Why
did they take these off? Can we get access to them again? Bob?
