Richard,
There are a number of reds available from AwlGrip. After lots of comparison, we had our boat repainted with AwlGrip Sunfast Red which we think it looks just like the original factory GelCoat color.
I also think it is a very ambitious undertaking to AwlGrip it yourself - but if you can carry it off, it will save a lot of money.

I as some others are at that time where we need to paint our hulls, I was considering using Interlux Perfection and have seen that some folks have used Awlgrip applying it them self, my hull is Brick Red and want to try to match that color. Interlux has an excellent DVD & guide book on the how to process and Awlgrip has good info. on line but what I need to know from the group is how was it working with these paints. For those who have done this did you remove all of the through hull fittings or paint around? I intend to remove both rub rails but can't make up my mind on removing the through hulls even though they recommend removal. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
