This has NOTHING to do with power catamarans, and in fact is just a
political rant against the current administration. I have met and
enjoyed the company of Dennis, and he indeed has a dandy Tennant
designed power catamaran, the envy of many, but this last message is
WAY off topic. The only thread connecting our specific interests
here and the referenced message is that they both involve boats/ships
and water.

Georges, are you there? OK, I know our list is not moderated, so
such messages can get out before they can be vetted, but I can only
plead to the entire 'readership' to keep the irrelevant stuff off,
and stick to the emphatically NOT political subject at hand: the
virtues, vices and prospects of the wonderful world of power
catamarans. I hope that everyone here has a healthy set of political
values - of whatever inclination they like - and that they
discuss their views with those that agree and those that don't; just
keep the strictly political stuff off our list please.

I am particularly sad that our once lively dialog has degenerated -
with only a couple of recent exceptions - into the occasional
commercial announcement or off-topic interruption. Let's rev this
conversation up again! Has anybody gone anywhere interesting? Are
there any new designs out there? How does the high power tunnel hull
vs wide stance slender hull 'competition' stand? There must be a
gazillion upgrades, fixes and patches out there among our remaining
'readers,' so 'fess up guys, what's going on aboard your boat? To
put my keyboard where my boast is, I will describe tomorrow the huge
electric upgrade completed last week, the day after some cogent
comments on the Raritan 'Hold 'N Treat' system (minus the cuss words
from my yard manager), and if others can re-engage and join in I'll
share a bunch of other stuff that has happened recently. At the
least, I can troll a bunch of provocative statements...

Sadly, missing our once vibrant discussions,
Gary Bell
Stray Cat, PDQ 34 hull # 012, lying at home berth, Scappoose, Oregon.

-----

I strongly endorse Gary's view on off-topic messages and heartily
support his desire to see lively discourse return to Power Catamaran
World.
