In most places in BC gasoline (bottom grade 87 octane rating) is $1.25 -
$1.27 per liter.
Diesel is about 10 cents more per liter. That's $5.62 per imperial gallon
for gasoline and diesel cost $6.08 per imperial gallon. We have been told
the reason diesel is so much more expensive is because it's now low sulphur
and cost more to refine.
Yeah sure! Mostly its taxes!
But it doesn't smell of sulphur any more.
