Dear Gram Rupert,

You do have a valid point concerning the price variation based on Georgs
estimate, especially as the 48,000lb is light ship and there is a deadweight
of at least  3 to 5,000lb still to come for full load displacement. Were you
using light ship or full load displacement for your 10 to 15$ per lb
guesstimate Georgs? I know that that sort of estimate is one of those "how
long is a piece of string" questions. But I would be interested to know , is
it a reasonably accurate estimate of costs in the USA?
