I agree that the TrawlerCat Marine (TCM) style of Catamaran is beautiful and
also like what I read about the design and specs of this Cat and there have
been a number of posts recently showing interest in TCM design and concept
of a LRC Trawler Cat.
But, can anyone offer an update or clarification as to the status of
TrawlerCat Marine. I do read, hear and/or see on-line that TCM may now be
with Bracewell Yachts in British Columbia ? Is this true, if so how long
ago did this occur, and is this a partnership?
I have also read not too long ago, that TCM was located in the PNW (Toledo,
Oregon) building a 45' TrawlerCat in partnership with (?), affiliated with
(?), or working with (?), Pacific Coast Boats . Not too long before that, I
believe there was reference that TCM was on East Coast of Canada (and maybe
even into West Coast, B.C., Canada) and before that they were trying to put
together a TCM in China which was to come across on her own bottom to North
America?
There also has been an interesting post where the owner of MV DoubleWide (a
45' Trawler Style Cat) makes the following comment:
"The principal of TCM was originally a partner in Pacific Coast Boats, the
company building the Double-Wide, but chose to turn his back on my boat
building contract. My contract contains no reference to or involvement of
TCM"
For reference to this post on Trawler M/V Group please go to:

You may also find it interesting to view the photos of the MV Doublewide
project progress at:

Just curious as to what is actually happening with TCM; put this together
with the comments made by the owner of MV DoubleWide; along with the
frequency of TCM moving from one location (Country) to the other and ?????
Any comments or clarification?????
Thanks
Craig
