[PCW] Nano-tech batteries

Kinda related to Mark's post on innovative engine technology, I've been
running across lots of references to nano-technology lithium ion batteries
like this one:

This company isn't the only one promoting this new technology in their
batteries.

Designed for use in electric hybrid (and just pure electric) cars, these
batteries are boasting high charge densities, deep discharge rates, fast
recharge, thousands of charge cycles, light weight, and durability. They
also can supply surge amperage for motor starting. Some claiming 250,000
mile lifespans in cars. Sounds perfect for a catamaran if even 1/4 of the
hype is true.

With companies like GM considering them for their new generation hybrids I'm
starting to think they may be more than just 'emerging technology'. Has
anyone seen these batteries being marketed for the marine sector yet? Would
be very interested in installing them in my new boat if they're available
(and reasonably affordable).
