I just bought a new 20' single engine (150 e-tec) tunnel-hull catamaran and have had nothing but surprises. I will not mention the name hoping I get some resolution of the problems. This is my first catamaran. The main problem I've run into is as follows:
    1) at any rpm under 3000 I have to fight the helm to keep on track. The only way to relieve this fight is to trim the bow all the way up. At this trim she is cavitating
so badly that when she does grab she goes from 10knts to 40 in a blink throwing all passengers all lover the boat. When on plane, in calm or rough water, she
handles well. I have worked with this cat for hours at low speeds, calm waters and differing trim settings with no solution.
Is this normal for catamarans? Please help!
