It is totally out of place to look for sympathy on Power Catamaran
List because you are having trouble living with the rules of another
forum.

You are mistaken. Scott Bulger is moderator of Passagemaking. I am
moderator here.

You were NOT "kicked off that list." You were placed on moderated
status so that your posts could be monitored to ensure you don't
break the rules again.

Passagemaking Under Power List has a prohibition against against
commercial messages which yours clearly was. Obey the rule and you'll
have no problem with Scott Bulger.

For Power Catamaran List, your post was borderline. You were clearly
pitching a concept from which you hope to profit. It sounded like
solicitation to me but, as moderator, I let it slide.

When you or anyone subscribes to Power Catamaran List at
<http://lists.samurai.com/mailman/listinfo/power-catamaran>, you are
told that:

<<Power Catamaran List was founded as a commercial-free forum for the
personal use of private individuals. People in the marine trade who
join the discussions must refrain from soliticing business or even
appearing to solicit business.>>

Because the power catamaran industry is still in its infancy, I have
provided members of the trade with considerable leeway to discuss
matters related to their designs and products. Also, on the multihull
scene, designers and builders have traditionally been much more a
part of the user community than in the monohull world.

Nevertheless, open solicitation of business is prohibited here, too.
