Press Release

MANTA CATAMARANS OFFERS POWERFUL NEXTGEN GEN-SETS

For lightweight, compact and fuel-efficient auxiliary
power, Sarasota, Florida-based Manta Catamarans provides customers
with Next Generation Power 5.5 and 8.0 kW diesel generators. The
state-of-the-art gen-sets are available on the Manta 42 MkIV SailCat
and Manta 44 PowerCat.

"Since the start of our company, we have manufactured over
120 SailCats and more than 16 PowerCats," said Manta Catamarans owner
Dan Even. "Although we offer NextGen generators only as optional
equipment, almost every single catamaran we've made features one."

Manta Catamarans strives to offer the best catamarans for
serious live aboard and extended cruisers. Delivering excellent
value, the cats are manufactured to the highest standards on a
limited production basis. Developed from owner feedback with
thousands of miles sailed, the Manta 42 SailCat employs the Ultra
Compact Marine 5.5 kW gen-set. Offering all the same great features
as the very successful Manta 42 SailCat, but in a motor yacht, the
new Manta 44 PowerCat utilizes the 8.0 kW version.

Providing onboard power for the Manta 42 SailCat, the 5.5
kW generator boasts the shortest length of any 5 kW model on the
market. Measuring only 25.5"L x 20"W x 22"H, the resilient unit uses
NextGen's patented low-profile mounting system. It weighs just 230
lbs.

"Next Gen generators are high-quality and powerful pieces
of equipment," said Even. "They are durable, yet light - and weight
is important on a catamaran."

Supplying energy to the Manta 44 PowerCat, the powerful 8.0
kW gen-set runs at mid-speed, peak torque and operates at a
comfortable 2,800 rpm. An efficient, 3-cylinder vortex combustion
system creates greater energy output with less fuel consumption and
cleaner burning exhaust. It weighs only 310 lbs. and measures just
23"L x 18.5"W x 20"H.

"I love working with NextGen," said Even. "We have been
using their generators for over 10 years now. They respond quickly,
offer great service and if there's ever a problem, they take care of
it appropriately. I wish we could say the same about other vendors
we've had in the past."

Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Next Generation
Power manufactures ultra-compact marine generators from 3.5 kW to 8
kW. The company also produces an extensive range of products for
industrial and commercial applications.

When I pass along press releases that I cross my desk, I post them
for what they are, publicity releases from power catamaran builders,
designers, dealers and others which represent the viewpoint of those
same builders, designers, dealers and others. The discerning reader
may need to apply a grain of salt.

I post the releases for general information purposes, without any
