Fountaine Pajot launches four new catamaran models

By the time you read this, La Rochelle-based Fountaine Pajot will 
have launched not one, not two, but four new catamaran models, all on 
the same day.

The new models follow close in the wake of news about the company's 
floatation on the Alternext stock exchange. The capital injection 
generated from the floatation will provide a strong financial 
platform from which to develop the company's manufacturing facilities 
and increase its building capacity at the large end of their sailing 
and motor line-ups.

First of the four new boats is the Salina 48, the replacement design 
for the company's much-vaunted Bahia 46.The other sailing model 
update is the Belize 43 that is being replaced by the new Orana 44.

There are two new models on the motoring side of the fleet too. The 
great Cumberland 44 has been stretched by 2 feet and is re-named the 
Cumberland 46 and the Highland 35 Pilot is now offered with a 
UK-friendly interior helm position.
