[PCW] Fuel Consumption

        My experience over the past 3 plus years with our Endeavor 44 has
been that we burn about 3 to3.5 gph at 1750 rpm, making 7.5 to 8 knots.
Cruising on plane at 3100 rpm, making 15 to 16 knots, we burn about 14
gph. I never figured out how much she burns at 3500 and 20 to 21 knots.
On a voyage from St. Petersburg, FL to Newport, RI I divided the gallons
used by the engine hours run and came up with an average of about 10.5
gph for the whole trip. We have a pair of  4 cylinder Yanmar 240 turbo
diesels. For a 44 footer with our speed, I was more than satisfied with
