Hi Chuck

We live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and are currently cruising
the Whit Sundays, so e-mails don't always get thru to us. But will try
and answer your questions as follows.

Have the Leopards been discontinued?

Yes we think so, but you would have to talk to Peter Brady about that,
and the Brava 42 is basically the same as the Leopard but we believe
it's built using infusion moulding which is a lot faster.

Is it a good boat for liveaboard cruising--sea kindly,

So far we aren't complaining - it's been very user friendly & we are
currently in our 8th week away. WE do have water making facilities -
and make often, generators etc. and we are pretty self sufficient.

good fuel consumption numbers,

We have to be re-propped and are burning about 55 an hour and should be
burning about 40 - so will let you know when we get the right props.

feeling of openness.

Yes, our boat actually appears in the brochure and adds - so our plan is
very open and works well for us, mind you we are happy & have it set up
as being just a 2 person cruising boat - but it will work work with
another couple for a few days no problems - will be testing that out
with our kids this weekend !

It appears to me that the Brava 42 is a continuation of the Leopard and
has its qualities.

Yep, that's about it.

Hope that this is of some help to you,

Regards

Graeme
