[PCW] Earthrace/Would-be circumnavigator in Vancouver

I have sketchy information that Earthrace, the New Zealand power 
trimaran designed to set the speed record around the world, has 
started its North American promotional tour in Vancouver this week.

The brief message I have from Earthrace shoreside support follows:

<The Boat is at Granville Island, near the Art Studio, until
Thursday.  You can log on to the website, and go to Where is Earthrace,
and zoom in to get exact location.>

Although the site is slick, getting any specific information out of 
Earthrace people is proving to be a challenge. More, as it becomes 
available.
