[PUP] Where are the passagemakers

Hello All,

We are here, right where we have been all along.  We still read the daily
posts, sometimes we ask questions directly to the author but seldom do we ever
post anymore.  You see, we are not nearly as smart or as wealthy as most of
you.  We do not own a Nordhavn, only a Diesel Duck.  In the past, when we have
asked questions that apparently were dumb, or perhaps stupid, we received no
replies, or worse, replies that seemed to indicate that we should have known
that, which we probably should have, but don't.  Lately, we have been in the
boatyard, getting our Duck ready for the voyage north in the spring.  It has
been a long and sometimes exasperating six months.  It has been a LOT of hard,
dirty work that we wish we could have afforded to hire out, so that we would
have had more time to learn all of the things that are necessary to have an
intelligent discussion on topics on this site.

In April we will go north to Canada and probably will encounter problems along
the way, because of our lack of knowledge, but we will be going.  It is one of
our few comforts...knowing we are going, perhaps stupid, but going.
