Good to hear of your experiences along the Colombian coast and the passage  
to the DR. Sorry to hear you won't be coming further east as I was looking  
forward to meeting you and seeing Jenny.
 
Would you share how you have your rubber snubbers rugged? IIRC  you use the 
large size black mooring snubbers on the 5/8" nylon and that  prevents the 
singing or humming of the wires. I have only seen these  snubbers in mooring use 
and they are led through the eyes at each  end and wrapped around the snubber, 
so I am unclear on just where there is  a knot. Was that arrangement 
unsatisfactory?
