Hello,
After keeping our boats in the tropics for over 40 years, we have determined
that we will store in the north in the winter and will need to winterize our
boat. We have decided that we wish to do this ourselves, rather than hire it
out. We think it is far too important and there are far too many items to
take a chance on turning it over to some yard mechanic who might inadvertantly
make a mistake of monumental proportions.
We therefore are asking boat owners that have opted to do this process
themselves, to please share their data, experience and itemization lists with
us.
Also, we plan on leaving the boat outdoors in a cold, snowy environment, and
not shrink wrapping it. What thoughts are there as to anything necessary to
do to the decks?
Thanks,
Sue
