[PUP] Paravane (flopper-stopper) settings

Beebe said paravane performance is "very sensitive to speed," based upon  
which hole is used for the tow wire shackle, yet I have found some reason  to 
doubt that the stated speeds shown in his book are correct. For  instance, I met 
a couple of Nordhavn 46 owners who run at 7 knots yet use  the "8-knot" hole. 
I'm curious to know which hole (in a stock Kolstrand unit)  people are using 
and at what boat speed and RPM. 
 
Fuel being a bigger issue now, I'm wanting to optimize this; get reasonable  
stabilization for the least drag.
