[PUP] diesel-electric

Think of "diesel-electric" as an old elevator with an attendant and one of 
those two way levers, one way up, the other way down.  The farther the 
attendant pushed the lever the faster you went.

I would presume that the electric part now is AC and much more "modern." 
No, you cannot possibly get a long enough extension cord.

Just trying to simplify things.
