ESP - 308 Intended Service An ESP pump is intended to be used for the 
removal of water from the bilges in an emergency situation and operates 
automatically as long as the engine of the vessel functions. When the vessel 
operates normally, the ESP pump helps to ventilate its engine compartment. 
Description Ratings ESP pumps are made of corrosion resistant aluminium 
alloy and are designed for mounting directly on the propeller shaft. They 
are intended to operate under wet or dry conditions. Intended for use on 
vessels with a propeller shaft diameter ranging from 25 mm to 70 mm and it 
can pump at shaft speeds ranging from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM with the following 
performance: Shaft Speed (RPM): 600; Head (m): 2; Capacity (ltrs/min): 780; 
Shaft Speed (RPM): 800; Head (m): 3; Capacity (ltrs/min): 1320; Shaft Speed 
(RPM): 1500; Head (m): 12; Capacity (ltrs/min): 2400
