Penny and I departed Beaufort NC 0800 Wednesday Nov 26 and arrived St. John,
USVI 1800 Wednesday Dec 3. Seven and a half days. We anchored in Caneel Bay
and had a good night's sleep before setting out for Dominica the next morning
at 1000. We arrived in Portsmouth at 0130 Friday Dec 5 and anchored. We
cleared Customs today at noon - US$27.00. We will depart 0400 Sunday for Rodney
Bay, St Lucia; Bequia on Monday; St Georges, Grenada Tuesday and arrive in
Chaguaramas, Trinidad Wednesday early afternoon.

Metrics on Beaufort-St. John passage:

Consumed 553 gallons fuel over 207 hours = 2.62 GPH
Distance: 1179 miles = 2.17 NMPG
SOG averaged 6.6 knots with fish in 80% of the time
We took 330 G water at the cruise ship pier in Dominica - cost EC$15. or
US$5.60. You cannot begin to run a water maker for that cost. PPM designers take
note - big tanks are good!

Regards,

John & Penny Camm
