I, too, agree with Hannu. While at IBEX (International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference) I asked most of the marine refrigeration people for technical details. Common sense stuff like thermal performance of insulation and thickness, accuracy of themostat and dead zone or dither, etc. EIther they didn't know, or claimed it proprietary information. Proprietary information!? This is a boatbuilder's conference. We need to know.
They were full of it about designer colors, beautiful hinges, Danfoss compressors, easy installation, etc. I also agree about the Sub Zero which I had considered until I heard the horror stories about reliability and cost of repair. They are one of the most expensive consumer home style units around. You would expect more.
