When I was in the Rio Dulce in 2003 I was strictly warned not to anchor in
Lago Izabel due to the potential for robbery.  I did take a day cruise
halfway down the lake to a restaurant on the north shore and encountered
exactly zero other yachts.  Essentially all the cruisers were east of the
lake.
