[PUP] Insurance

I am an Australian that has bought a Nordhavn 43 'Venture' in Florida.  I am
having difficulty insuring this vessel.  Could anyone tell me if it is
possible to cruise the Bahamas, Virgin Is and Caribbean without insurance -
such as visiting marinas and fuelling up.  I am happy to carry my own cover.
My intention is to do this in the New Year before taking the boat back to
Australia on her on 'bottom'.
