If you land the boat in WA and keep it there 6 months you will be liable for
WA use tax. Are you going to keep it in WA? If so, go ahead, and pay the
tax, otherwise the tax savings alone will pay for 3 deliveries up the coast
and back, and back...

Regarding Alcom, If their common practice for installing VHF antenna mounts
is to simply drill through the top layer of fiberglass, and then thread
machine bolts into it with a little 5200 as a sealant, I'd take my business
elsewhere. That was what I experienced with my boat, but I'm not sure who
did the antenna mount install, so it may not be fair to pin it on Alcom. I
had other Nordhavn owners tell me they had Alcom install their antennas and
this was the technique used on their boats.

Regarding Emerald Harbor. I've purchased 90% of my electronics from them in
the last 2 years but I've done all the installations myself. Dan, one of
their techs did troubleshoot a windless problem I had and I found Dan to be
a wonderful person to work with. I'd get in touch with Dean on Segue
because I've seen his boat at their docks for months. Good luck!
