[PUP] Monterey to Santa Barbara

Heading South from Monterey to Santa Barbara.  Just got off the phone with
Capt Mike Maurice who is heading North, reverse of our route.  I experienced
an alternator belt failure about 3 this afternoon.  Thwack, thwack, thwack
is NOT a sound you want to hear from your engine room.  Fortunately
redundant belt is doing the job.  If it fails I'll start the gen set to keep
the batteries charged.  Should be in Santa Barbara before it starts to blow
on Monday afternoon.
