Scott,

       It might be a bit too far out of the way but we loved cruising the 
British Virgin Island, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Tortola and the USVI including 
St Croix. It is very easy pleasant cruising in the trade winds, somewhat 
crowded at times but one can always find a secluded spot to anchor out of the way. 
Diving is fabulous and water is crystal clear. You must stop at Foxie's on Jost 
Van Dike...
