All hands--

We all owe a vote of much thanks to Scott Bulger who retires today as
the founding listmaster of Passagemaking Under Power List.

Scott encouraged me to launch the List in December 2004 and
volunteered to serve as the initial List Administrator. Here's his
first post:

We started with 200 participants and now are almost at the
500-subscriber mark, much of it a result of Scott's tireless work
behind the scenes and his engaging posts to the List.

By July, Scott and his wife, Marian, hope to have sold the house and
the second boat in Seattle to be able to start a two-to-three voyage
with Alanui, their Nordhavn 40. Here's the float plan:

"Cruise July/August in the Puget Sound, then depart for San Diego in
early September. On November 7, we'll be part of the FUBAR fleet that
departs for La Paz. From there, we transit the canal, go to Florida,
then Boston, back to Florida, to the Windward Islands, then South
America."

By the by, the boat that's for sale is Knot@Work, a Camano 31.

Scott promises to post updates of his travels to the List so we're
sure to hear from him now and then.

Much thanks, Scott! I'm sure all hands join me in wishing you and
Marian sunny skies, flat seas, and clean Racors when you cast off.
