Who is Eligible?

Membership is open to:

  a.. Children of USAA members.
  b.. Active-duty officers and enlisted personnel.
  c.. National Guard and Selected Reserve officers and enlisted personnel.
  d.. Officer candidates in commissioning programs.
  e.. Recently retired or separated military personnel.
  f.. Former USAA members.
Military Separation or Retirement

Become an active member before time runs out. Secure exclusive savings and 
benefits by joining USAA before you leave the military.

  a.. Purchase an auto, homeowners, renters or personal property insurance 
policy by December 31 of the year after you leave active duty, Guard or 
Reserve duty to secure a lifetime of benefits for you and your family.
  b.. Based on your date of separation or retirement from the military, you 
have one to two years to lock in your membership.
