Date/time: July 25, 2006, 12:00 local (z-9)
Position at Frosty Bay: 56D03.891'N 131D58.013'W
Position at noon: 55D46'N 132D18'W
Sea state: Calm
Wx: Wind S, 0 to 15kts, cloudy with rain, & fog
Crew: Ben, Brad & Kevin
Remarks:
Once south of the Narrows, the sea was cleaner and nicer, not dirty from the
Skeena River. We tried to anchor at Anan Bay, but it was full of crab traps
in the only usable area. So, we went down south to Frosty Bay in the fog,
and the dark. The bay was very beautiful, even in poor weather. A good
sleep, then anchor-up, and heading south.
Last night there was a 19.1' tide which is the highest since NW Australia at
28'.
