[PUP] Circumnavigators under power

Hi Georgs and everyone,

I'm curious if there is a similar list for significant passages or extended cruises. Perhaps it would be too long. We hear a lot about the exploits of the Nordhavns, but always wonder who else is out there making long passages that we don't hear about. Many folks might not complete a circumnavigation, but have a fine time circling the pacific, or covering the Caribbean and the Med.

Bruce Jones talked about crossing the pacific in the family DeFever back in the 70's, and there is Leonard Stern's Marine Trader (early 80's?).

If you were to take a census of current cruiser passages by power yacht (perhaps limited to 60-70' and owner operated), I'm curious what you'd see. A dominance of the big brands, Krogen, Nordhavn, or a perhaps a majority of custom, customized, or small lines like the diesel ducks.

honor roll of circumnavigations of the world by passagemakers under
power.

Since I last updated the list below, I have confirmed two
circumnavigations by Larry Briggs and have leads on several others.
Of course, Idlewild needs to be added, too.

More, as soon as I get a chance.
