Mike & Tammy,
Lake Erie doesn't really have a regularly scheduled tide like the oceans
do. It's only about an inch, barely noticeable. What you are experiencing
is probably wind driven water. Check with the locals for more info ...

Anyone know where to look up the tidal forcast for western Lake Erie? ;
)
Had to adjust the lines twice last night and now we are trapped on the boat
as
the dock is 6' above deck and I'm not that agile to climb out (boosted
Tammy
out a rope ladder so she could take the chiuahuah for a walk this
morning).
We've seen the water drop by a foot or so on Lake St. Clair with a heavy
wind
from the right direction, but this is insane.
I should have known something was wrong when the boat stopped bouncing
around
in the middle of the night. Luckly our catamaran settled gently onto the
bottom and just recently came free with no apparent problems. We are being
pulled next week so we'll see if we lost any bottom paint.
