GL: Best marina for July 1st? (Canada Day)

The Robert Bondar Marina (Canadian) and the Kemp Marina (USA) at Sault Ste.
Marie, Ontario and Michigan respectively, have a wonderful July 1st thru
July 4th celebration on both banks of the St. Mary's river.  The Annual Tug
Boat races are great fun, and a breakfast barge provides delicious fare,
with the proceeds supporting local charities.  Many other special events and
concerts add to the festivities.  

If you plan to cruise Lake Superior as an extension of the Great Loop, July
5th is probably as early in the season as most boaters would want to start
their clockwise (recommended direction) circumnavigation of the lake.
