Hi Roger,

We did a whole series of reviews last year for MadMariner.com. All 16  
of the popular e-charting apps are covered in detail (about 4,000  
words per with screenshots, etc.).

They aren't "short" but they should get you where you want to go.

And I'm pretty sure Mad Mariner has a free 30-day trial subscription  
so you can go read them and not have to pay anything.
