GL: wine aboard.

One issue that hasn't been covered with regards to being under way  
with wine is that vibration and the motion of a boat is going to  
really degrade it.
Some of the better box wine is suprisingly good for an everyday house  
wine and would, I imagine, hold up much better than bottles as there  
is no air in them.

We enjoy "special" wines too and there is no doubt that some of the  
wines that have been carried some distance aboard have been  
disappointing.
We tend to buy and drink better wines en route.

The Goslings black seal rum, though, seems to handle the waves without  
any trouble whatsoever.
